Travel Conditions

Dear Guests,

the following conditionshttp://agavetravel.com/about-agave-travel1/trave-conditions-agave-travel/important-advice  (which will give you a holiday without unexpected surprises) and  http://agavetravel.com/about-agave-travel1/trave-conditions-agave-travel/house-rules-agave-travel are part of the contract between you and Agave Travel Agency.

1. Booking

The Booking of your travel arrangements would be either via the internet or directly in our office.

1.2 If you are booking via internet, the travelling conditions are accepted without your signature. We therefore ask you kindly to familiarize yourself with our conditions.

1.3 The booking via internet should be done as follows:

If you have found something that is of interest to you from our program, then just fill in the booking form with your details, or just let us know your wishes and we will do everything for you. The completed form can then be emailed to us. It will take us 1 or maximum 3 days to complete the booking for you.

2. Payment

The prices in our offer differ for each object and are advertised in each separate accomodation.
The prices in Euro are just for your information, the currency in Croatia is Kuna and we accept cash payments in Kuna.

Holiday units/Holiday homes/Rooms/Excursions/Boats

If you agree with our booking offer, you are required to pay a deposit of 30% -50 % of the full price for accommodation ( for booking for 10 days or more; 50 % advance the guest have to pay for the house Valdarke) or excursions.  However when booking accommodation the minimum payment must be equal to at least 3 nights of your booking (for stays under 10 days). You are required to pay the full price of your travel arrangement at the latest one day after arrival. We accept the following payment options: Cash ( in Kuna. Credit cards no accept)

Hotel accommodation

If you agree with our booking offer, you are required to pay a deposit of 30-50% (depending on the Hotel) of the full price for your travel arrangement. You are required to pay the full price of your travel arrangement at the latest 10 days before arrival.

2.1 Payment by telegraphic transfer to a bank or post office

As soon as we have received your booking form we will inform you with
our banking details or the address of the post office to send your payment.

When payment is made, the guest is required to pay all the banking and transfer fees. Exchange rate for advance in euro - the travel agency take the exchange rate from bank, it will same like in bank on day of arrival of advance.

3. Stays less than 4 days

30% extra charge for stays from 2-4 days
50% extra charge for stays - 1 day

4. Cancellation - private accomondation valid for reservations made from 30.04.2020 ( for Valdarke check point 4a) 

up to 95 days before commencement of your booking, the guest can cancel. The deposit held by the travel agency Agave Travel will be deposited back onto the account of the guest minus 30% of the booking deposited. The bank fees for the transfer must be paid by the guest.

-from the 94 th until the 60 st day before commencement of your booking, the travel agency will keep 50% of the advance. The remaining deposit will be transferred back to the guest. The bank fees for the transfer must be paid by the guest.

-from the 59 th until  5 th day before commencement of your booking, you will lose the full price of the booking deposited to the travel agency.

-From the 4 th day for the start of the journey, or if not travelling , 100% of the booking fee.

In case of cancellation, the guest can find a new person to take over his booking. However the guest has the responsibility to inform the travel agency about the swap, so that we can make a new voucher. You will have to pay extra fees for the changing of the voucher.

Complementing of the travel conditions for the duration of special conditions related to the occurrence of the COVID-19 disease epidemic, the following shall additionally apply:

Article 6
 After Article 38, Article 38a and the title above the article shall be added, which reads:

»Right to terminate the contract and issue vouchers in the event of special circumstances of the COVID-19 epidemic
 Article 38a

(1) By way of exception to Article 37 section 6 and 7 and art. 38 section 2 and 3 of this Act, in the case of unrealized travel contracts that should be completed after March 1, 2020, the tourist has the right to terminate the travel contract after 180 days from the date of cessation of special circumstances, and the travel organizer issues a voucher for use in another time.

(2) If the tourist decides to refund the deposited funds, the organizer must return the deposited funds within 14 days after the 180 day period following the cessation of special circumstances.

4aCancellation - private accomondation Valdarke

5. Cancellation- hotel accomondation

up to 61 days before commencement of your booking, the guest can cancel. The deposit held by the travel agency Agave Travel will be deposited back onto the account of the guest minus 30% of the booking deposited. The bank fees for the transfer must be paid by the guest.

-from the 60th until the 45st day before commencement of your booking, the travel agency will keep 50% of the advance. The remaining deposit will be transferred back to the guest. The bank fees for the transfer must be paid by the guest.

-from the 44 th to the 10 day before commencement of your booking, you will lose the full price of the booking deposited to the travel agency.

-from the 9 th to the start of the journey, or if not travelling , 100% of the booking fee.

In case of cancellation, the guest can find a new person to take over his booking. However the guest has the responsibility to inform the travel agency about the swap, so that we can make a new voucher. You will have to pay extra fees for the changing of the voucher.

6. Early Departure

If you depart earlier then your booking, you have no right to a refund. In special circumstances a refund can be negotiated.

7. Complaints

The guest has the responsibility to inform the travel agent about any complaints immediately when they arise. The travel agent will rectify the problem within 24 hours of notification. If this is not the case, the travel agent will have to refund the guest the amount of money which equals the complaint.
If the guest does not inform the travel agency immediately after arising of the problem, he is not entitled to any compensation.
