Cres

Cres
The historic capital of the island Cres is also named Cres.

We recommend you visit the town loggia from the 15th century, the church of the St. Mary of the Snow, which has 3 distinct areas called ships and the roman Isidor-Church from the 12th century.

It is just wonderful to wander through the narrow streets of Cres and enjoy the area.

In the summer months all the small cafes in the harbor are a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

The old center of the town wall and entry was through the town gate.
